Our Lodge lies on a beautiful coral caye situated right in the heart of the Permit Alley, a 30 mile stretch of shallow flats, home to one of the best Permit fisheries in the entire world. It is a simple and friendly little lodge situated on the beautiful and quiet southern tip of the Caye, just a few yards from the reef – ideally located to be quickly in action for fishing or underwater activities..
The lodge has four comfortable seaview rooms and three spacious, comfortable cabanas, all with amazing views of the Caribbean. The over-water restaurant offers Belizean cuisine with an emphasis on seafood and local specialties with European influences. The restaurant has a popular cocktail bar with an beautiful view of the Caribbean and the Mayan mountains far, far away to the west – an ideal place to meet with others while the sun sets.
The Lodge started to receive guests in the early 1980’s. The original owners were fishermen and had the property on the Caye for generations, going back to the pirate days!
The lodge changed ownership in 2014 and is now run by our partners who have more than 30 years combined experience in hospitality and have continued the fishing, diving and snorkeling tradition.

FLY FISHING
Belize is famous for fly fishing and the fishing around our Lodge is world class, as we’re right in the heart of the famous Permit Alley. Let us hand pick an expert guide to help navigate you around our waters. Experienced fly fishing guides will take you to the flats to chase Permit, Tarpon and Bonefish. If you are lucky, perhaps you will obtain fly fishing most coveted prize a Grand Slam –Permit, Tarpon and Bonefish- in the same fishery, on the same day!
SPIN & TROLLING FISHING
Our Lodge is just a few yards from one of the rare openings in the reef. The next opening is about 6 miles south and the opening north of us is 18 miles away. This means that a lot of action is found right outside our lodge as tides push bait-fish in and out of the reef opening – either inside towards the flats or out towards the deep blue waters. This attracts predators such as Barracudas, Snappers, Jacks, Tarpons, King Mackerels and even bigger fish such as Marlin, Wahoo, African Pompano and several other species.

Beach life
Guests can enjoy a small beach to sunbathe, relax or explore the shallows of the nearby reef with Kayaks or Paddle boards at their disposal
Snorkeling
The underwater world surrounding our Caye is waiting for you to discover its beauty. Access thousands of corals, fish and other creatures a few swim strokes from our dock. Beautiful corals and fish await you just a few yards from our dock and there is a good chance that you will see rays, nurse sharks, and other creatures already the first day of exploring In addition to exploring the underwater world on your own – we are happy to take you to other wonderful snorkeling spots – just let us know and our experienced guides will make sure you’ll have a great time.
There is rental gear in the case you prefer to travel light and we can arrange snorkeling courses if you are a beginner or just want to extend your skills.
Scuba Diving
Belize Barrier Reef is one of the best dive destinations in the world and our Lodge is ideally situated with well known dive sites around the corner.
Beautiful and pristine dive sites are just by our door step, only a few minutes away by boat, this makes diving readily accessible and very comfortable. Corals are beautiful and the wildlife hosts stingrays, eagle rays, sharks, turtles and a variety of reef fish. We typically do a dive in the morning and one in the afternoon and have our surface time while having lunch on the island.
